Reptile Express is growing at an alarming rate, therefore due to the overwhelming demand we're
now proud to offer this most recent service from Reptile Express!
Residents nationwide are now able to have a pick up service at their door to ship their
reptiles to their customers to many locations throughout Canada!
We are however unable to offer flat rate fees with this type of service due to the much more complex
calculations involved with a pickup service at your door, as well as shipping to your customers
throughout Canada.
We no longer require a mandatory account setup to take advantage of this service. However, we do now require you to use one of our shipping kits. You therefore won't need to provide us with the dimensions of the box, as we're already aware of all our box dimensions. Also, our kits will come with all the appropriate labels and supplies therefore no errors will result from the shipment as opposed to using your own box without our necessary labels etc.

Please let us know what reptiles you're shipping, how many and what their sizes are so that we can pick out a suitable shipping kit for you. This kit will be shipped to you via Canada Post - Expedited Parcel
Once we have this info, we'll then be able to let you know if we provide a pick up service in your area. If we do, we'll give you a shipping quote right away.
You would then proceed to the next steps:
Once the shipping kit, Canada Post shipping fee (to ship the box to you), as well as the Reptile Express fee to pick up and deliver your package have been paid for we'll go ahead and ship out your kit.
Once your kit has arrived, email or call us to let us know when you plan on shipping to your customer. We will now be the brokers for your shipment. Meaning we will take care of all the shipping paperwork, as well as arranging for the delivery truck to come by your place of residence.
Pickup days at your residence are Monday to Wednesday ONLY between the hours of 9am - 5pm.

Keep in mind that we do not offer our Live Arrival Guarantee with this service as we're not packaging the shipment(s) ourselves.

On the day of pickup do not start packing your shipment until you get a confirmation from us to do so very early in the morning that day (around 8am). Attached to that email confirmation will be a waybill that we have already filled out for you. Please print THREE copies of this waybill.
You have nothing to fill out other than the following two sections. On the bottom left of the waybill there is a "SHIPPER" section; please sign your name there. Directly below that there is another "SHIPPER" section; please PRINT your name there. That's it, there's nothing else required for you to fill out.
When the driver arrives at your door, ask him for 3 tracking numbers (stickers) that are identical numbers. Stick one tracking number on each of the THREE waybills. Stick them over the top right of the waybill that says "PRINT FORM".
Tracking numbers must be on EACH waybill, otherwise the chances of your package being lost will be high due to it being un-trackable.
One of the waybills you will keep for your records. The other waybill will be given to the driver, and the remaining waybill you will tape onto the box securely.
Once all tracking numbers are in place, you then simply hand the package to the driver. You don't need to get anything else from him or fill out any paperwork. If the driver asks you to fill out a bill of lading, this would be an error on the DRIVERS part. Do NOT fill out any paperwork. This will mess everything up.
Reptile Express is not responsible for any written paperwork the shipper does, or any errors or charges that may come out of it. This is why we fill out the information on your waybill, to avoid any mistakes. Any charges or fees that come out of an error from filling out a bill of lading will be charged to the credit card we have on file. So please help avoid this.
If you haven't received a pickup by 2pm please LET US KNOW!
Please Keep Warm (sticker): This will be provided to you in the winter season. Please make sure to put at least one of these on the top side of the box. The others can go on the sides.
Live Harmless Reptiles (sticker): Please place these on all sides of the box including the top.
Reptile Express Logo (sticker): Please place this on top of the box. This will assure the driver that we're the ones contracted for this type of live animal service. Otherwise they may ask you lots of questions or refuse the shipment.
Should you decide to ever cancel shipping out, the shipping kit is non-refundable, however the Reptile Express shipping fee can be reimbursed minus a $9.95 administrative fee as well as any bank transaction fee to refund your payment (ie. Money order $7.50 fee, EMT $1.50 fee etc).
